Project Overview

The Spring Lake Park Improvement Project will upgrade the existing gravel road leading to the overlook and Frisbee golf course by constructing a new paved roadway. The work will include excavation, placement of a new aggregate base, and asphalt paving to create a smoother and more durable surface.

Once complete, the new paved road will provide safer and more reliable access for visitors, making it easier to reach and enjoy the Frisbee golf course and scenic overlook at Spring Lake Park.

Construction Timeline

  • Signage Placement: August 10, 2026
  • Staging of Equipment: August 12, 2026
  • Construction Begins: August 13, 2026
    • While construction is in progress, a portion of the walking path, swim beach, and road will not be accessible in the areas shown below. All other areas of the park will remain open and accessible.
  • Construction Ends: September 11, 2026
