Class Objective

  •  Level 2 (Perch) is designed to continue building on the teachings of Level 1, introduce and strengthen independence, and introduce more advanced swim techniques

Teaching Goals

  • Water safety
  • Strengthen independent float on front and back
  • Independently glide on front and back
  • Roll over front to back
  • Roll over back to front
  • Controlled breathing
  • Introduction to streamline
  • Introduction to treading

Qualifications To Advance

  • Roll front to back and back to front
  • Back float for 10 seconds
  • Front float for 10 seconds
  • Unsupported jump and get back to wall
