RFCC and WARC Facility Improvements RFQ
The Williston Parks & Recreation District (WPRD) is requesting Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from qualified architectural and engineering firms to provide professional design services for capital improvement projects at two existing recreation facilities in Williston, North Dakota.
WPRD intends to select one (1) firm to provide services for all projects; however, WPRD reserves the right to award projects separately or modify scope based on funding and District needs.

Project Overview
WPRD is undertaking renovations to existing recreation facilities to enhance functionality, accessibility, user experience, and long-term operational efficiency. Conceptual planning and preliminary assessments have been completed. The selected firm will validate prior work, advance designs, and support bidding and construction administration.
Tentative Schedule
- February 7, 2026: RFQ issued
- February 12, 2026: Optional project introduction/site meeting
- March 9, 2026 (12:00pm/CT): SOQ submittal deadline
- March 23, 2026: Anticipated board selection
- April–December 2026: Design phase
- Spring 2027: Construction phase begins
Note: WPRD reserves the right to accept or reject any or all items therein, to waive any irregularities or technicalities, and to contract in the best interests of WPRD. Responses shall remain valid and subject to acceptance at any time within sixty (60) days after the submission deadline, unless a longer period of time is mutually agreed upon by the parties.
