In this role, you will handle the full scope of daily accounting operations, including receivables, payables, deposits, reconciliations, and month‑ and year‑end close. You will oversee reserve funds, manage laddered CDs, and work with local institutions to secure competitive rates. You will coordinate the annual budget with department leaders, support sales tax projections, and prepare monthly financial statements and board materials. This position also maintains organized, audit‑ready financial records and serves as the primary contact for auditors, banks, insurance partners, and legal counsel. Additionally, you will support payroll processes and work closely with program staff who may request financial guidance.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field and brings at least five years of progressive accounting experience. Experience with governmental or fund accounting is helpful. Familiarity with financial management software, including Black Mountain Systems, is valuable. Success in this role requires strong communication skills, confidence working independently, and the ability to collaborate effectively in a fast‑moving environment.
